Washburn University invites applications for a Distance Education/Health Professions Librarian and an Instructional Librarian.

Required: ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent degree; demonstrated commitment to the library as a central institution within the life of the university; demonstrated ability in teaching/strong commitment to student learning/application of technology in effective design/delivery of instruction; familiarity with current trends/standards/technologies in information literacy; strong service orientation with effective interpersonal/oral/written/online communication skills; ability to work independently/part of team in rapidly changing & culturally diverse environment; necessary vision/leadership skills to position Library to meet future needs.

Duties include: teach information literacy/help coordinate curriculum-integrated information literacy instruction, including delivering and scheduling sessions, assigning instructors, developing instruction programs, and collecting and analyzing data related to library instruction; some evening &/or weekend hrs required.
